About this session

This session is available in Sydney, Melbourne at 12:00pm AEST and Perth at 10am AWST.

This session will explore the political developments in Latin America from the rise of the ‘pink tide’ social-democratic governments in the late ’90s and early 2000s, through their reforms during the commodity boom, to their political decline and the right-wing backlash expressed by figures like Jair Bolsonaro and the defeated coup in Bolivia. Featuring a guest speaker from the Argentinian Marxist left.
