Power concedes nothing without struggle, and the ultimate form of struggle against capitalism is revolution. Revolution has always been the cornerstone of Marxism for this reason, it is only through mass movements that challenge the power of capital and the state that socialist demands can be realised.
But what do revolutions look like? And is it possible for them to succeed in modern capitalism? How should we respond to reformist socialists who insist change can come from within? What is the difference between a popular revolution and a workers revolution? These questions and more will be answered in this session.
