Today governments, corporations and environmental NGOs alike all claim a transition away from fossil fuels is taking place — is this the case? Can capitalism kick its dirty habit?
This session will look at the historical development of capitalisms dependence on fossil fuels and argue that a genuine and just transition is only possible under a socialist economy.
