As Israel commits genocide in Gaza, with the full complicity of Western governments, the question of how Palestinians can be liberated is more important than ever. This session will outline a socialist strategy on this question, why we can’t look to the “international community”, the UN, or the Arab states to help liberate Palestine, and why the so-called 2-state solution is a dead end. But nor does the armed struggle of the Palestinians themselves have the power to defeat Israel militarily. Instead, an orientation to the working class of the region will be discussed, with its revolutionary potential to challenge imperialism and capitalism itself.
