Diane Fieldes

Anti-Vietnam War activist & life-long socialist

Diane Fieldes was a high school participant in the movement against the Vietnam War in 1970 and has been a life-long socialist ever since. She was involved in protests surrounding the first Mardi Gras in 1978 and has been involved in numerous campaigns over the decades, including for Indigenous and refugee rights. She is a writer and historian, regularly contributing to theĀ Marxist Left Review andĀ Red Flag newspaper. Diane is a member of Socialist Alternative’s National Executive.
