Jerome Small has been a socialist activist in the construction division of the CFMEU for over two decades. He’s seen the rise and fall (and rise again) of the Australian Building and Construction Commission, been at dozens of picket lines and written extensively for Red Flag on industrial relations from a passionately pro-union perspective. He’s currently Socialist Alternative’s Industrial Organiser and is the Victorian Socialists candidate in the 2022 Victorian state election for the Northern Metropolitan upper house seat.
