Liam Ward is a refugee rights activist and filmmaker. He is the director of Do Nothing and Do It Well!, a film about the often neglected history of Melbourne’s militant Chinese workers. He is the author of an article on the same topic for the Marxist Left Review, Radical Chinese labour in Australian history. Liam has been active in Melbourne organising the fight for refugee rights and many other social justice issues. He is a long-time National Tertiary Education Union activist, and a member of Socialist Alternative.
