Janey Stone’s mother sought refuge in Australia from Polish antisemitism in the 1930s. A lifelong socialist, Janey was active in the Women’s Liberation and anti-Vietnam War movements and a committed unionist. Janey is the author, with Donny Gluckstein, of The Radical Jewish Tradition (Interventions 2024).
